You are a life saver (I hope).just ordered this from AMZN & can''t wait to try it. I just used my boat this weekend & had the std alarm you get from mercs which which is low fuel, low oil or water in the separater. Only problem was the gauges for each engine are so crazed I can't read what the fault is.

Had this happen to me with my 30 amp RV it damaged the RV a bit but it's okay rn that's why I never buy Chinese tires i use Goodyear endurance tires don't wanna end up in a mess like that again

Is having the wire just wrapped around the fuse actually safe to do? If a power surge happens and the fuse blows then you don’t have a fuel pump anymore. Did you ever experience any problems after the installation?

If I don’t have high level inputs I’d need a LOC to connect the speaker to amp ? If you can please explain the soldering method or method u used for 51:20 is it a three way splice or just two wires ?

Maybe connect the feed wire to spare fuse in the fuse box and when you turn off the car the radio will not be on and drain your battery

How long were the crews that you used to screw the amp to the top of the trunk?

Had that happened to us passing Revelstroke, BC on our tent trailer. Replaced in 5 minutes and we were on our way to Chilliwack and Victoria. We brought two spare tires on our trip.

Many years ago when I was a new 16 or 17 year old driver, we were moving my grandparents across the country. My father was in a full size rental truck towing a car trailer, it was heavy. I was driving a loaded van towing a loaded utility trailer with a single axle. My father got up full speed down hill to try to help climb the uphill side. Naturally a trooper was at the bottom of the hill. When he shot past me after my dad my trailer tire blew out right next to the trooper. We both did the all over the road thing. The funny thing was, right when the tire blew he turned his lights on. He stopped in front of me. My dad walked all the way down the hill to me. The trooper kept telling my dad how good of a job I did keeping it under control. The trooper was trembling the entire time lol, kept us out of a ticket. Since that time I have had many more blowouts on all sorts of positions, none are fun but the key is to not over react or jab the brakes in a panic. This guy did a good job.

If anyone has any problem with the rear subwoofer and speakers stop working you can go into the front doors and inbetween where you take the hinges off there should be a rubber boot that seals the wires that from the speakers and buttons in the door into the car itself if you remove it you should find a connector and in the connector there is wires you have to find 2 of the thickest wires on there you strip them and put a small little 9v battery to them to check wich is positive and negative i will rewrite this comment with wich is positive and wich is negative for you all not to struggle.i used this option because i had to remove the door panel than found out i didnt have to do that at all and just had to look at the connector for the speaker wires to tap into and hookup a loc"line output converter"

On the frame of each speaker, if you look at the spot where the two feet slide in 27:52 you can take a pair of pliers. Gently bend the round part down, and a speaker can easily fit in the mouth. You need to remove the clip at the top, not difficult with the same pair of pliers. Than splice into the factory harness (cutting Honda's connector off) and using the provided cables with the speakers. You can even use self taping screws to secure the speakers. It's kinda a tight fit in the rear but can be done, saves about $50 on the mounting brackets, and harness connectors. You need the tools to do it, but if you own them its not hard at all.

Do all the speakers have this pop out feature? I never understood why cars etc don't have that option. Back in the day it was simply cut a hole in the door panel and put the cover over the speaker. Made it much easier the next time you replaced the speakers

Did you have to by pass the factory 8in sub that comes with the car, the place where I had it done said they haf to disconnect it because of the factory amp and was causing some kind of noise or it just stayed on. Also im using factory radio

FYI I followed this tutorial and it was great except for one thing. Tapping the 12 volt wire in the fuse is a huge no no. Find a different 12 volt connection or use a fuse tap. I did it as he does in the video and it ruined the fuse connection. I had to pay $200 to get my fuse box fixed.

Just a tip on removing the door panels. The best place to start is the corner where the speaker is. You don’t even need tool, your fibers should be able to unsnap that area and from there the rest of the panel unsnap fairly easy
